My projects are varied in both scale and style, ranging from rooms in houses to shops, yoga centers, restaurants, hotel entrances… and I enjoy the creative challenges they present. The process always starts with an extended dialogue about the space, its use, personalities and their way of life and defining the general idea of what we are trying to achieve. These can be as outlandish as a hanging structure for wine glasses that resembles a line-drawing in space with lit objects around, which I made for a café and performance space. It all comes down to the translation of ideas and concepts into spaces and three-dimensional objects, within the budget available.

Here's an example of sketches of a piece of furniture that needed to incorporate a side table and a lamp. And following that, a chair I made for a client, simplifying the idea to her taste. When the budget is limited, as was the case in this meditation space within a private home, I adapt the design accordingly: Style, colours and atmosphere are important aspects to define, I use mood boards and sketches to transmit ideas in a clear and easily understandable way.
